Hey everyone! It’s the first hump day of spring! So many trees blooming, much like our graphic below. (Don’t forget, the dogwood’s really a tree) Also, don’t forget this is the last week of my reader’s survey and of course, there’s always news to share:

At the General Assembly: the House approved a bill that would get rid of protest petitions for homeowners who want to stop zoning decisions, a cancelled House committee meeting that would have discussed the Rockingham County School Board changes , the Senate adds money to the incentive pot and historic tax credits make it through a House committee.

Prison guards could get a pay raise. State jails will also lessen the use of solitary confinement.
