Wow! It’s November! We are coming up on almost a year of North Carolina Placebook! Although we’ve only been on our own platform since March of this year, we started over on Kristen’s home blog, The Black Urbanist, as a way for her to share a few news links she thought important and get some ideas off her chest.
In honor of #NaBloPoMo (National Blog Posting Month), Kristen’s going to be writing every day (not just every weekday, every day) about various things. Some of those things include book previews of her upcoming book A Black Urbanist, which makes its debut on December 1st.
Another thing to be excited about: voting. We all hope you’ve already exercised that right in the early voting process. If not, read this guide and be ready to show up at your polling place tomorrow from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. throughout North Carolina. Oh and you need to make sure you mail in your absentee ballot too, if that’s your thing. That’s cool. All ballots in Colorado are mailed and also available at poling places too.
